Press kit: Covestro Media Talk on Innovative Recycling
Summary
- The recycling of plastics must be massively expanded in order to achieve climate neutrality, conserve limited natural resources and protect the environment. Above all, innovative technologies for chemical recycling must be advanced. This is the only way to recycle plastic waste on a truly relevant scale and with real greenhouse gas savings. Covestro wants to be a pioneer in developing and using such innovative recycling technologies. The current focus is on the chemical recycling of flexible polyurethane foam from used mattresses.
