Covestro announces virtual THINC30 Summit 2020: UN SDGs Relevance and Recovery

Pittsburgh, September 16, 2020 — As the United States continues to grapple with the coronavirus pandemic, economic uncertainty, racial justice reckoning and the ever increasing impacts of the climate crisis, the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) have become more relevant than ever. Covestro’s THINC30 2020: The UN SDGs in the New Now: Relevance and Recovery will take place over three morning sessions on October 15th, 20th and 22nd. Each day is devoted to one of the three pillars of sustainability with themes, “Social Resilience,” “Environmental Justice,” and “Economic Empowerment,” respectively. The sessions will feature national, regional and local experts on topics ranging from “Preventative Health Strategies in Low Income Communities,” and “Managing the Local Food Supply Chain” to “Environmental Justice” and “Collaborating for Climate Change” to “Investing in Female and Minority Entreprenuers” and “Building an Inclusive Innovation Ecosystem.” To register, please visit: www.covestro.us/thinc30-summit.
