Covestro intends its shareholders to participate appropriately in the company's success. Therefore, the company has formulated a new dividend policy, valid as of the financial year 2020: Between 35% and 55% of the net income is to be distributed as a dividend.

Based on this dividend policy, the Covestro Board of Management had proposed to the Annual General Meeting a dividend of €3.40 per share for the financial year 2021. This proposal was adopted and resolved by the Annual General Meeting, which was held as a virtual meeting on April 21, 2022.
