Dr. Klaus Schäfer is the company’s Chief Technology Officer. He is responsible in that role for the corporate functions of Process Technology, Engineering, Group Health, Safety and Environment, and Group Procurement. He also coordinates the rollout of and compliance with global processes and standards and the rollout of initiatives in Covestro’s production network.
