Covestro schlägt eine Dividende in Höhe von EUR 1,20 pro Aktie für das Geschäftsjahr 2019 vor

Der Vorstand der Covestro AG hat in seiner heutigen Sitzung beschlossen, der Hauptversammlung eine Dividende in Höhe von EUR 1,20 pro Aktie für das Geschäftsjahr 2019 vorzuschlagen und den verbleibenden Teilbetrag des im Jahresabschluss ausgewiesenen Bilanzgewinns auf neue Rechnung vorzutragen.

Die Hauptversammlung findet am 30. Juli 2020 als virtuelle Veranstaltung statt.

Der Vorstand hatte der ursprünglich für den 17. April 2020 in Bonn geplanten Hauptversammlung noch eine Dividende in Höhe von EUR 2,40 pro Aktie vorgeschlagen. Der aktuelle Fokus des Vorstands liegt auf der Sicherung der Liquidität und Bonität des Unternehmens. Wie im Rahmen der Mitteilung zum 1. Quartal 2020 ausgeführt, erwartet der Vorstand aufgrund der globalen Coronavirus-Pandemie im laufenden Geschäftsjahr deutlich niedrigere Erträge als im Vorjahr. Trotz der wirtschaftlich herausfordernden Zeiten beteiligt Covestro seine Aktionäre weiterhin am Unternehmenserfolg. Bezogen auf den gestrigen Xetra-Schlusskurs in Höhe von EUR 30,49 ergibt sich eine Dividendenrendite in Höhe von 3,9 %.
