Tokyo, April 4, 2023 – Covestro Japan Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) announces that Mr. Munetaka Uchimura will be appointed as Country Representative for Covestro in Japan and President of Covestro Japan Ltd., succeeding Mr. Kimiyasu Yonemaru effective July 1st, 2023.

Mr. Uchimura will take over the position in addition to his current role as President of Japan Fine Coatings Co., Ltd.. Kimiyasu Yonemaru (currently, Country Representative for Covestro in Japan and President of Covestro Japan Ltd..) will retire from Covestro, effective June 30, 2023.
