Manufacturing such products needs a lot of energy which results in the emission of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide. In this regard, Covestro has defined ambitious targets: from 2005 to 2025 it aims at reducing its specific emissions by up to 50 percent. A number of innovative production technologies will help to achieve this.
